Only import people who agreed to hear from you. Whoever unsubscribed, bounced or was cleaned out at the source stays unsubscribed here: an import never signs anyone back up.

A CSV file

From any tool: Mailchimp (Audience › Export), Brevo, Sendinblue, a spreadsheet. The first line names the columns.

MailPoet

MailPoet is not on this site. On another site, export its subscribers as CSV and use the file.

Mailchimp

Audiences, tags, merge fields and statuses, without exporting. Make a key in Mailchimp: Profile › Extras › API keys. It is only used during this import, then forgotten.
